Welcome to NEREID

Welcome to the NEREID project's website. The NEREID project (“NanoElectronics Roadmap for Europe: Identification and Dissemination”) is dedicated to map the future of European Nanoelectronics. Started in November 2015, NEREID is a Cooperation and Support action that has received funding for three years from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 685559.

WP3 & WP4 Domain-Workshops during the SINANO Summer School 2016

During the SINANO Summer School 2015 a series of NEREID Domain Workshops regarding the workpackages 3 and 4 take place on October 16-21, 2016, in Bertinoro (FC), Italy

The topics are:
“Nanoscale FETs”, “Connectivity”,
“Smart Sensors”, "Smart Energy" and
“Energy for Autonomous Systems”


WP5 Domain-Workshop on the Challenges for Heterogeneous System Integration

The WP5 Domain Workshop on "Challenges for Heterogeneous System Integration" will take place on September 16, 2016, 8h30 - 17.30 in Grenoble's World Trade Center in room Cervin. It will be embedded as an associated event into the 6th Electronics System-integration Technology Conference and Exhibition (ESTC) in Grenoble from September 13 - 16, 2016. The Domain Workshop will be organized by Alan Mathewson, Danilo Demarchi and Giorgos Fagas.

WP2 Domain-Workshop on Beyond CMOS

The first Domain Workshop of NEREID (“NanoElectronics Roadmap for Europe: Identification and Dissemination”) was on Beyond CMOS and took place in May 16-17, 2016, in Helsinki.


Topic “Non-conventional information processing approaches and devices”.
